Sounds like a fine idea to me (except for the G1 pace bit) and gives a weekend alternative along the lines of the Popular Saturday ride outs, in terms of distance, pace (hopefully) and turnaround time – presumably including a coffee stop at some point or maybe not (keep that optional near to the end of a route perhaps – if there is anywhere near the G open on Sunday.

Im just putting it out there to see who, if anybody, would be interested in a Lazy-Bird Ride on Sunday’s, during the winter months; setting off from the G’ at 10am? (for those of us who have warm and comfy beds that demand a Sunday-Sacrifice of an extra hours glorious sleep).

Given the late start, it wouldn’t be a particularly long ride – 60/70km’s (I did say Lazy-Bird), at a G1/2/G3 pace, depending on who’s interested? I’m happy to lead, etc, blah, blah.

    Let me know your thoughts?

Alex (King of the Lazy Birds)
