Christmas party – Bromley Court Hotel – December 11th 7pm onwards

Category: Club/Social

Owner: billfitzgerald

Hi fellow club members. It's that time of year again where we need to start wondering if we still fit into our party outfits and if not go buy some new outfits. Due to a considerable price increase at the Bickley Manor and also to keep things fresh we are holding this year's Christmas event at the Bromley Court Hotel - https://www.bromleycourthotel.co.uk/christmas-2019/ I will publish menu options etc and make the menu form available for people to choose and submit in due course. As usual the evening: Will start with a free drink (this year your choice from the bar 'within reason' rather than just prosecco or a soft drink). Then onto a 3 course meal followed by tea/coffee. Club trophy presentations and speech from club chairman/committee representative. The venue supply a DJ who will continue playing tunes until the evening ends at midnight. Our room will have its own bar this will possibly close earlier that midnight, but I will clarify that and advise nearer the time. Should you wish to stay overnight please let me know and I will ask the event coordinator if they are able to offer preferred rates to event attendees. For now it would be helpful if you could show your interest via the usual attendance options. But please note, by doing that it does not guarantee attendance as you will need to submit your payment via RiderhQ once published on a first come first served basis. I will publish relevant updates and news when required, but it is up to you to ensure you are aware of dates, payment methods etc as once we run out of spaces they are all gone. Now the all important costs and rules to consider. With slighlty increased costs from last year we have voted to keep your contribution the same as last year at £18 with the club absorbing the extra costs. This is likely to change next year depending on costs and available club funds. Payment will be via RiderHQ once I set it up and publish the link. The evening is for 50-55 people on a first come first served basis. Club members can invite one guest each. Any additional persons above your +1 will be charged at the full evening costs and only allowed to attend once all club members have had a chance to attend if they wish. A suitable date for this cut off will be confirmed and published so we are all aware. I think that is about if, but if I have any further detail I will of course let you know. Watch this space for further details and for the RiderHQ payment/menu page. I will also add this and any updates to the club forum and ask for relevant updates to to published on the weekly newsletter. Thanks all Bill Fitzgerald Club Social Secretary.

Committee Meeting

Category: Club/Social

Owner: alanjarrett

We hold a meeting open to all members every two months. We cover all matters large and small with the objective being to listen to ideas, agree the direction for the club and find people willing to take on actions (everything we do happens through members injecting energy and time into them). Please do come along if you can. If you can’t make it but have any ideas about what additional things we could do as a club or things we could improve (or better still what you’d be willing to contribute to help with either of those!) then send them to secretary@gsavanti.co.uk. It is our AGM at the end of the month and we will be preparing the agenda. If you have an interest in one of the committee positions please come and discuss. See you there.
