Revolve24 4up TTT

About the event:

Created by Steve Rodgers

The Revolve24 weekend will be hosting our inter-club 4up TTT on Saturday 15th September.

It’s part of the open 4-up TTT being run by CTT that morning.

First off is 7am and it finishes by 9am.

There is some discussion on our private forum about arranging groups.

Please click attending here and let us know teams you’re arranging on the forum thread.

If you need to be massaged into a team, please put your hand up and hopefully everyone will assemble into superbly naturally balanced teams πŸ™‚

Once teams are organised – need to be by end of August – if not sooner – we’ll get them signed up in bulk – entry will be free as it forms our season finale.
Please also let us know your CTT ID if you are already a CTT member.

There is another event that many club members will be riding on the Sunday – the 6 hour endurance event – see the event here.

And anyone in the club is welcome to take part in the 12+12 on the Friday, the 24 or 12 hour races on the Saturday too – use the discount code GSA10 for 10% off.

I’m looking to do the TTT again this year. Very organised with a team lined up already. John Caine, Paul Baldwin and Steve Butler and I are reuniting to recreate the glory of 2016 !

Just trying to get my head around this as I’ve never done anything like this, but it does look interesting. I see there are different options and durations. Are we (Avanti) focusing mainly on the 4up and which duration (6,12,24)?

Would the 24 work in shifts? I mean, I assume 4 people won’t be going continuously for 24 hours? πŸ™‚ TIA

And crucially – every team that takes part scores points for the club – it has come down to the last day on previous years.
Plus just getting the chance to ride around the legendary Brands Hatch circuit is quite something!

    Howdy y’all.

I’m up for giving this a go if there’s still team spaces available.
Re speed, team mate selection – for club rides I’m averaging 16mph so hopefully there will be others within this range interested.
