First Aid Course

The first of our club first aid courses will be run on Saturday 16th June.
It covers: QNUK Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
9am meeting for 9:30am start, will run til around 16:30.
This is a limited attendance only event.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits available all day.
You will need to bring your own lunch – half hour lunchbreak only.
Understand the role of a first aider
Be able to assess an incident
Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty a casualty
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty that is not breathing
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty that is choking
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty that is bleeding
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty in shock
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
What to wear
There is a large practical element to the course so casual, comfortable clothing, including trousers and flat shoes, is recommended.
You will be required to show photographic ID to your tutor before you can complete the course. Please bring this with you on the day. Contact us before the course if there is any issue with the ID requirements.
