Dear reader

It's February already! Is it just me or did January fly by in the blink of an eye?

Club Meetings

Monday 6th Feb we have our first committee meeting of the year - in a different location to usual - it's at The Chelsfield pub. It's a great chance to get involved in the running of the club even if you haven't before.

Details of the agenda and location are on the website - please click to let us know you're coming:

Monday 20th Feb we have the final KK meeting before the event - it'll be at Westcombe Park Rugby Club - event details to follow.

Reminder 26th Feb is the Kentish Killer itself - looking forward to the day - remember you should be being contacted by your sector leader.

Kentish Killer

The KK is fast approaching - 5 weeks and counting.

By now the helper list has been put together - I think the last few members that haven't been included are still being reached out to - get in touch if you think you're not yet included.

The current helper list to get an idea of what you're doing is on the club documents area:

Sector leaders will coordinate with individuals to establish where, when to meet and their duties.

Any issues - get in touch .

Kit Flash

December's order is here. Marek's taking care of the new distribution courtesy of Cycles UK - he'll send out more info soon!

The online shop should be reopening with some new additions on Monday for 2 weeks.

Marek the kitmeister is contactable at .

Club Rides This Weekend

Saturday ride is on - looks like Patrick is leading.

Sunday it's the Old Portlians Reliability Trial - it's the last local RT of the year - we should get a good turn out too. G1/2 are riding and anyone else interested is welcome - details on the website.

• G3 - there's no ride on the site yet - keep checking for more info.

• G4 - Ian Soper is leading a 40 miler out to Cyclopark.

You'll have noticed that some Sunday regulars have been missing for a while - cyclocross season comes to an end this weekend. It's the regional team champs this Sunday and Simon, Rob, Sam and myself are representing the club in the seniors race with Paul and maybe Rob and Simon doing another race after! That will be double-kudos for Avanti!

There should be some fun picks of dirt and suffering next week.

Stay safe, stay warm
