Hi Avanti Member!

As you know, the finale to the Time Trial Season is this Saturday, with a 4UP Team Trial over 4 laps of the 2.5mile GP Circuit at Brands Hatch. You will find full details, including aerial views of the circuit, if you CLICK HERE. Friends and family will be very welcome.

Avanti will have at least 11 teams competing. The proposed teams are shown in the forum. CLICK HERE.. Huge thanks, in advance, to those helping on the day as well.

• Please tell us asap if you wish to withdraw (or be added for that matter).

• Email me (Chris) with confirmation of your age, and an emergency contact number. This will help hugely with set up. email to chairman@gsavanti.co.uk

• We strongly advise (rather than instruct!) that you ride on road bikes, making use of the drops, UNLESS you agree beforehand to all use a TT set up as a team. Safety comes first, and it's your responsibility to ride safely.

This is the timetable for the morning:

• Arrival: 6.40 am to 7.15am

• Registration: 7.00 to 7.30am

• Briefing: 7.30am

• On Track Practise: 7.50 – 8.15am

• TT Start Time: 08:15 am (@ 2 minute intervals)

• Track to be vacated: 10am

• Presentation in Media Suite: 10.15am - including Inter Club Trophy and "on the day" prizes.

Finally, a quick note about the 2.5mile circuit. You maybe surprised at how wide the track is, and how steep some of the climbs are. One section briefly hits 10%, and some cornering is quite sharp (following a descent). The total climb each lap is just over 200ft. Teams will be overtaking others as well - so you must be vocal, shout ("on your right/coming past" etc) and do not overtake on the inside of a corner. CLICK HERE for track profiles and KOM data.

There will be a more detailed briefing on the day.

Any questions, please post on the forum.

See you on Saturday!

ps - Can those on the reserve list please arrive by 6.30am if possible, to assist - you will be reserves for no shows or form the final team. Email if that's a problem please. All helpers need to be there for 6.30am, Sorry :-)
