Dear Avanti Member,

Apologies for the lack of newsletter last week - back to the usual again this week.

TT News

Disappointing news that this week's Hilly TT was cancelled due to roadworks - it's the event everyone loves to hate. Make sure you're there for the next time we do it later in the season.

Next week we have the Cudham TT on Thursday and then on the Saturday - the Isle of Grain (pan flat) 2-up TTT. We could do with a big turnout. Also it's our turn to marshal - so if you can help out - please get in touch on the website.

It's quite far away too - so if you can car-share to get there even better.

Race News

Last weekend we had a really unfortunate event at the SERRL road race - it was wet and slippery and unfortunately Rich Wilson and Sam Dorkings were in accident and Sam ended up with a broken elbow - get well soon Sam. The event was abandoned as there were further incidents - even involving a collision with a tank! See the website for more info.

This weekend lots of Avanti riders are taking part in an LVRC crit at Hog Hill - good luck - we look forward to reading the race write-up.

Tuesday Night Group Rides

Tuesday night rides have started again - see the website for more details each week.

Kit News

Caps and armwarmers are selling well - they are almost sold out.
We have a stock of shoe-covers and gloves arriving next week.

The May order is being delivered on Monday - I've reached out to everyone to arrange delivery. Also for any new members - I'll have the kit box at the G on Sunday morning before the rides if you want to collect a top.

To purchase caps and arm-warmers - arrange with me - kit@gsavanti.co.uk - and purchase online on riderhq - you can see stock and costs here:
