Dear Avanti Member,

Great news this week - we have received confirmation from HMRC that the club is now registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). The club will now benefit from tax relief on profits earned from organising the Kentish Killer sportive.

Thanks to Lee Powell  and Chris Dines for driving this effort to help run the club more effectively.

Also - lots of great write-ups from the Velothon Wales on the forum last weekend - with many Avanti riders taking part - check them out - I'm gutted that I missed out on riding it this year.

Great effort - 20 riders for Avanti - at this week's Peckham TT. Results will be posted on the website soon - some really improved times - keep going, plenty more to come this season.

Race News

Congratulations to Andy South who placed 3rd in a fantastic effort from a breakaway at a recent cat 4 race at Cyclopark!

Tuesday Night Group Rides

Stay tuned for news about the Tuesday night group rides.

Kit News

The April order has been delivered and I'll be arranging distribution of kit to those that had placed an order. The May order is being processed and will be delivered end June. The club shop will be opening next week for 2 weeks, for delivery in July.

We now have a small stock of summer caps and arm-warmers and will be adding to that aero shoe-covers and track-mitts next month.

We'll be offering these to purchase via the RiderHQ site with collection as per usual - email kit@gsavanti.co.uk for more info - updates to follow next week.
