Hi reader

At last - SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!!

It's hot, the sun is out and it's a bank holiday weekend.  Time for barbecuing and cycling - or both!

As luck would have it, there are plenty of club runs on this weekend.  Bring your own sausages.

Club runs

Saturday - Alistair is leading a 40 miler tomorrow.  Meet at the G nice and early for a prompt 8am start.

Sunday G1 - Steve Rodgers will be leading a 60 miler with the promise of hills and a strawberry milkshake in Four Elms.  Meet at the G at 9am.

Sunday G2 - Sefi will be leading G2 on the same route as G1.  Meet at the G at 9am.

Sunday G3 - Not yet posted so watch the site for details.

Sunday G4 - Ian Soper will be leading an interesting 50m mile route out to Aylesford Priory.  Meet at the G at 9:15am.

Sunday G4 (alternative) - If you don't fancy Aysleford Priory (or Ian Soper), Brian Bulmer will be leading a ride to Rye.  Earlier start - 8:15am at the G.

Please RSVP on the site if you are planning to join a ride and download routes to your Garmins.

Time Trials

The Cudham TT is next Thu 1st June at 7:45pm.  Details are on the site.  It's great fun and with the weather like this should be a lovely evening.  Get down there if you can (especially if you've never time trialled before - no experience or special kit needed and all abilities welcomed).

Club Kit

March orders were delivered to Cycles UK last week - if you had something ordered you should have received an email.  April orders are coming next week apparently.  Not sure how that works but Marek says it's happening so who am I to doubt it!

The online shop will be open for new orders from June 1st to June 15th.

Finally...

It's my birthday on Wednesday so, y'know, happy birthday to me.  I don't feel like I'm turning 35.

Have a fantastic weekend whatever you are up to.

Richard
