Hi reader

The winter mon
The winter months are getting closer, and the cold weather gear is making a reappearance at the G. But the good news is now that the clocks have gone back, you can make your way to the early rides in daylight for the next few weeks !

Kentish Killer 2018 - WE NEED YOU HELP

As you know, the Kentish Killer is coming on 25 February 2018, and tickets will go on sale later this week, the 5th of November.

Lee Powell is leading the coordination of the event, and comitting a vast amount of his personal time and effort. Supporting this, the club is fortunate enough to have a loyal band of volunteers, many of whom have done their bit for the KK every year for a number of years.

Even with this support, there are still many opportunities available to do your little bit. For such an important, and well organised event, there really can't be too many helpers.

It's the successful running of this event that makes the club what it is, and provides the benefits offered each year which can be far in excess of the annual subscription. (Think of discounts on kit, TT entry, Race entry, sportive event, weekend trips, Christmas presentation night, to name a few).

Please consider what you might be able to offer, be that time, expertise or both possibly and contact Lee at treasurer@gsavanti.co.uk . (Yes, Lee takes this on as well as being the club's treasurer).

Don't forget the small print :
We all know part of signing up to the club is committing to helping out on at least one event a year. Lets support Lee and his team, and deliver the best KK yet.

New Members

A big welcome to our new members this week.
Paul Buttery and Neale Napier.
In the last week or so we've seen Neale and Marko "sold" on the club after just one ride, with both posting kind words on the club chat.
Whilst I'm sure it would have been the same for any Avanti ride, well done to all those who have made our new and prospective members feel so welcome .

Reminder - Curry Night

Don't forget the curry night this coming Wednesday 8th November.
The venue is the Village Cuisine, Farnborough . Please RSVP on the event so Lee knows how many naans to order.
