Dear reader

A little hiccup in the production line for the Avanti newsletter this week brings you the "Avanti Newslater", a slighter shorter, more speedily created version of the regular Avanti Newsletter.

A beautiful afternoon as we go to press follows on from the cloudy but warm morning, and a very well attended Saturday Ride . Seventeen in total assembled to be there for the debut of Neale Napier as ride leader. Well done to Neale today.

The weekends rides still available.....

The warm weather is set to continue tomorrow, so I'd imagine they'll be a big turnout for the Sunday rides, details as follows:

G2. Ride to Aylesford Priory with Chris Dines leading a strictly G2 pace ride.
Looking at the comments and growing attendee list on the event, there will be two groups riding, with the opportunity for a faster spin looking likely. It's being billed as G2+
To register interest see here. NOTE the 9am start time.

G3. Ride to Horley with Claire Clarke leading. Start time is 9:15.
To register interest see here

G4. Ride to Allesford Priory also, with Brian Bulmer leading. Start time 9:15.
To register interest see here

Tuesday training Rides.
The rides are mixed ability, with stronger riders supporting other riders. Ive joined a couple in recent weeks and found them really good fun, albeit tough.
If you fancy pushing yourself ( that's the point, not being pushed to keep up with faster riders), come along and see what you can achieve. To sign up for this weeks ride see here

Training at CycloPark

We have another session booked for training at CycloPark on Saturday 14th July.
The aim of the session is to introduce and improve cycling skill useful for club group rides and time trials such as cornering, group riding and leading.
Great session for riders just beginning and/or wanting to improve – practise existing skills. Highly recommended for all new members.
The session will be lead by certified British cycling coaches Lee Staples and Richard Liston.
More details and info on how to register on the website.
