65 miles - ave HR 138 - ave mph 16 - took it nice and easy at the lower end of the endurance HR zone most of the way.
Left the G at 8:30 so not too late back due to riding at nice steady pace. Horrible freezing fog out in the lanes that…

Chris Andrew Cook said… - I am aiming to do my first race for 12 years! on 23rd of may, the serrl at edenbridge. This will give me some time to recover from two weeks in majorca and try and get some speed back in my legs! As I have only been riding properly again for three months I am quite short of "race pace" so some G1 rides a few evening tt's and some interval training is needed I think!

The V02 sportive went ok but did not end up with the time I wanted as there was nearly 40 mins of mechanical probs trying to true up my mates back wheel! (he finally gave up and got picked up at groombridge). Without that I would have been getting towards top twenty in the timings! Had fun though and the rain held off to!

- Yes happy to shoot anywhere along that road. I'll set myself up to catch the train coming up towards Badgers Mount. Is it possible to get the view across the downs in the shot if we congregated next to the Polhill Arms? Agreed that with it boarded up it doesn't look too appealing though.
