"Yes, usually ride back to Ipswich (~35miles) afterwards - otherwise you can book a coach back from the beach but you have to wait until 1pm Lights are a must but these days most commuter lights are good enough - just remember some spare batteries"

Dunwich Dynamo at London Fields - Hackney

July 16, 2011 at 8pm to July 17, 2011 at 8pm
For those of you not in the know, the Dunwich Dynamo is an annual overnight ride from London Fields in Hackney through Essex and Suffolk to Dunwich on the coast, a distance of 120 miles. It starts at 8pm (ish) and you would expect to arrive in Dunwich around 6am on the Sunday morning. Once there, you can either wait and get an organised coach back (see URL above) or ride back to Ipswich (25miles) and catch a train back to London.I have done this for the last 5 years and highly recommend it,…See More

Dunwich Dynamo - 24/25th July

Its that time of year again and the Dynamo is here again. For those not in the know, this is an overnight ride from London Fields in Hackney to Dunwich beach on the east suffolk coast. It starts about 8pm on the Saturday evening and after a 120 mile ride you usually arrive at Dunwich about 6am where the cafe is open for a nice cooked breakfast! Last year about 1000 riders took part and the weather was fine. I have done it for the last 4 years and was wondering if anyone from the club would like…See More
