Last year a bunch of local cyclo-cross racers put on a short summer series of races. It was a big success and so the series returns this year with more races and some training sessions as well for those wanting to brush up on their skills.The races will be held on Monday evenings starting on July 8th. A colleague of mine used to be a pro back in the day, but before that, in his youth he was an avid reader of Cycling Weekly. He calls it "the comic". Anyway, he has about a hundred copies of it from the late sixties and early seventies in his loft that he would like to get rid of. He can't bring himself to throw them away, but would like them to go to somebody who would be interested in flicking through them.
