I had a go at the Hever Castle triathlon yesterday(25/09), it was the sprint version ( 400m swim - 20km bike and 4km run) which seemed quite achieveable. They said the water was 16 degrees, so thats not too cold is it? well it did feel pretty cold and after gasping for air, I did a bit of backstroke then breast stroke for the first 200metres before warming up a bit and doing the last 200m crawl. unsurprisingly there was a lot fewer people behind than infront…
