Good Friday will see one of our Bi-annual G2 rides to Rye.  This ride is always popular, and is a good opportunity for anyone who is looking to do their first 100 miler.   Total distance is 115 miles, with about 3800 ft of total climbing.  Pace will be at an average of approx 15 mph.  We stop at Rye for lunch, then usually Yalding for afternoon tea.  We will start promptly at 8.15 am, and its an all day event, arriving back at approx 5 pm.  Please let us know if you plan to come.  Brian Bulmer…See More

This Sunday we are going to have a G2 paced ride to Rye.  The full distance is about 110 miles.  NOTE start is at 8.00 AM  We ride direct, routing through Sevenoaks and Tonbridge.  Lunch is at Rye and then we return via the country lanes to Yalding for tea and cakes.  Last 25 miles takes in Plaxtol and Polehill.  It is possible to travel back by train from Rye, if you only want to come one way.Brian Bulmer and Steve Riley to lead  See More

This Sundays G2 will ride to Tulleys Farm, a tea and cake stop in West Sussex.   Ride is approx 65 miles, and will be led by Dave Bettinson.

Today we will ride a loop that takes us down to the four Elms Garden Centre for a quick cuppa, then back to the Rising Sun at Twitton for the Avanti BBQ.  Total distance will be about 45 miles.

The Avanti Summer Barbecue will be on Sunday 10th July, at the Rising Sun Pub, Twitton Lane, Near Otford.  We have an exclusive marque in the garden (so no problem with the weather).  There wil be a Mixed Grill (Lambchop, Pork Fillet, Sausage) jaket potato and salad. Start is fom 12.30 pm onwards.  Cooking kicks off at 1.00 to 2.30 pm.  All guests are welcome, so please bing partners and family.  Cost is now  £5 per head (Roger will collect on the door)  All Sunday rides will end at the Rising…See More
