NOTICE TO ALL ROAD RACERS.
Due to delayed road repairs the start of the summer crit series at crystal palace will be delayed until tuesday, 8th May.

Road race/circuit race commissaire training.
Is anyone interested in attending a training course the BC division is putting on to train new commissaires?
Commissaires are the officials who manage road and circuit racing and are essential for the fair and efficient running of our racing programme.
The course is on Saturday, 14th April 2012 and will be held at Staplefield village hall. from 9.45am to 4pm.

CALLING ALL TESTERS!! - Avanti joins Eastern Counties cycling association.
Following requests from the club's time trial riders, Avanti has joined the ECCA so that our riders can ride their events in search of better times on the faster Essex faster courses.
These courses are coded "E" in the CTT handbook and on their website.
There is a down side however! As part of the membership agreement we must agree to marshall some of their events so I will be looking for those riders who ride their events to take on this responsibility.

Shaun McKeown got a bronze medal in the C1 Kilometre time trial at the Para track world champs in Los Angeles.
