Ride to Rye at G2 pace at green St Green

April 6, 2012 from 8:15am to 5pm
Good Friday will see one of our Bi-annual G2 rides to Rye.  This ride is always popular, and is a good opportunity for anyone who is looking to do their first 100 miler.   Total distance is 115 miles, with about 3800 ft of total climbing.  Pace will be at an average of approx 15 mph.  We stop at Rye for lunch, then usually Yalding for afternoon tea.  We will start promptly at 8.15 am, and its an all day event, arriving back at approx 5 pm.  Please let us know if you plan to come.  Brian Bulmer…See More

G2 - Something different ride - All welcome at Green St Green

Last winter Dave Smith led a very enjoyable ride into London to see the Olympic Stadium.  We plan to return to see how things are coming on. This is advertised as a G2 ride, but anyone can join, just be aware that we will cover approx 70 miles in total from the Green.  ( 50 miles Greenwich to Greenwich)   The routing will be via Greenwich foot tunnel, then along canals to the Olympic Park.  We shall then follow some new routes taking us north.
