Final best 8 Results (Provisional)
The Avanti 2010 Time Trial Championship has now concluded with the results to be put on the website shortly.
It had been an exciting season, with the points being fought over at every level. Several new bikes appeared during the season helping to bring down the investors times. Although we were narrowly beaten into 2nd place by 7 Oaks Tri in the Interclub competition, we did lead at the halfway stage.This being the first year the competition had been held, a large turn out of riders were commonplace, sometimes finishing at dusk. 27 Avanti members competed over the 16 rounds,unfortunately several rounds were cancelled due to road closures etc. Many new Avanti faces were in evidence, some of whom are award winners on the podium.Prizes to be awarded at the Xmas Dinner. Each winner can only win one piece of silverware, there are 6 in total.The results are provisional, any questions,queries or disputes to me personally please via my email. Round 8 Club Results
Full Avanti results, including points tables, have been completed and will be posted on the web site ASAP. Following round 9, Sundridge, (unfortunately cancelled for Thursday 22nd July) I will commence announcing the best 8 results to assist members of their true championship positions. All provisional until championship end.Dave B.
