Q10/7 Higham

The meeting place for this course is HERE! To get to the start, you come out of the lay-by onto the roundabout, cross over the top of the A289, then straight over the second roundabout and up the hill. The start is roughly where the number 66 appears on the map. From the start you go back down the hill, across the first roundabout to the second roundabout where you turn right (caution tight turn) down the slip road to join the A289. You then follow the A289 heading West until you reach the big roundabout, where you turn and retrace back to the slip ramp that brings you back up to the first of the two small roundabouts. Here you turn right back over the A289 to the second roundabout to repeat the course again. The finish is on the slip ramp at the end of the second circuit.

 

Q10/18 Polhill

Start on London Road (A224) at top Polhill north of junction with Otford Lane (opposite Polhill Arms public house). Proceed north to RAB. Take 3rd exit and proceed north on Orpington By-Pass (A224) to RAB. Take 2nd exit proceed west on Sevenoaks Road (A21). Take first left into Old London Road, care needed as corner v.tight. Proceed east on Old London Road to RAB. Take first exit and proceed north on Orpington By-Pass (A224) to RAB. Take 2nd exit proceed west on Sevenoaks Road (A21). Take first left into Old London Road, care needed as corner very tight. Proceed east on Old London Road to RAB. Take third exit onto London Road (A224). Proceed south on Old London Road (A224), past starting point, to RAB at bottom of Polhill. Take the first exit into Morants Court Road (A224). Take first left into London Road (immediately after Rose And Crown public house), care needed as corner very tight. Proceed north on London Road and finish shortly after row of cottages on your right.

Q10/19 Tonbridge Bypass

We park in a layby as indicated HERE! The start is just across the road on the A26. From the start you ride a short distance before filtering left down the slip ramp (known as the ski slope) onto the A21, heading towards Sevenoaks. You follow the road for over 5 miles and take the next slip ramp up to Sevenoaks Weald roundabout. Here you go all the way round and retrace back down the A21. You finish at the big road sign and speed camera, (basically where the yellow road goes under the A21/Manor farm is indicated on the map) before reaching the slip ramp back up the hill to the start.

Q10/26 Brands Hatch

We meet at the school in Eynsford (A225) as it is near the finish HERE! Then ride to the start. This is a lay by near the top of Gorse Hill (on A20). From there it past the entrance to Brands Hatch, gradually climbing to the roundabout at the top of Wrotham Hill where you turn and retrace back past the the start, down the hill and take the turn into the Eynsford valley road (careful adverse camber to the road and tight) to finish as mentioned opposite the entrance to the school.

QS/30 Cudham

Start on Cudham Lane at entrance to Sports Ground car park just south of Blacksmiths Arms public house. Proceed south on Cudham Lane to junction with Main Road (by Scotts Lodge), turn left into Main Road. Proceed east on Main Road through Knockholt Village and onto Rushmore Hill. Proceed down Rushmore Hill to RAB at junction with Sevenoaks Road (A21). Take first exit and continue west along Sevenoaks Road (A21) to RAB. Take first exit onto Cudham Lane North. Proceed south on Cudham Lane North to finish at same place as start.

G10/38 Sundridge

Start on Chevening Road (B221) north of junction with A25, approximately half way between A25 junction and M25 bridge. Proceed north on Chevening Road (B221) to RAB at bottom of Star Hill. Continue straight over the RAB onto Polhill (A224) continuing to RAB. Take the third exit to Orpington Bypass and continue to RAB. Take first exit onto Wheatsheaf Hill, care on descent. At T-junction turn left onto Old London Road, take care at junction. Proceed south on Old London Road to RAB. Take third exit onto London Road (A224). Proceed south on A224, down Polhill to RAB. Proceed straight across to Sundridge Road (B2211). Continue on Sundridge Road (B2211) to finish in dip in road shortly after Chevening Cross.

GS/311 Interclub Hilly

The course starts in White Horse Road HERE! After the start you take the first left and follow the rolling road to come out at the top of Ide Hill. You drop down Ide Hill and take the first turn left round the back of Bough Beech Reservoir. At the next junction turn right (care) down to Chiddingstone Causeway. Turn left onto the causeway and through towards the village. Just before the village turn left again and follow the road all the way to Sevenoaks Weald. At the crossroads go straight over (care) and up Hubbard's Hill. At the top turn left along Gracious Lane and left again over the bridge. You then take the first right as if you are starting the course again. You follow the same roads until after Bough Beech Reservoir. At the next junction on the first lap you had turned right, this time you turn left and follow the road gradually upwards through to the next junction. Left once more and up Bailey's Hill. Turn right at the top (care) to finish where you started.
