Riding Home for Christmas (shameless plug)

Just a quick note to say that my friend Rob and I have decided it would be a fantastic idea to ride all the way home from Sheffield to Orpington (all 200 miles) to get back for Christmas, we hope to complete the mini adventure all in one day leaving Sheffield at 5am on Sunday December 18th and riding for as long as it takes. 

To help give us extra meaning and motivation as we fight through the head wind on our way south, dodging ice patches and snow drifts we have decided to try and raise £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support- roughly £1 per kilometre we ride! So far we have raised £182 so if anyone is feeling generous and would like to spur us on as we face near certain frost bite all donations would be greatly appreciated on our just giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Robert-Ricketts, and failing that any words of encouragement would also be welcomed!
