Good turn out we head out via the Pilgrims way and West Malling, short stop at the Friary then it was eye balls out back to the Meadway Bridge. After Cuxton I tailed off the back and when Dave decided to take them up into Cobham I thought a short cut was in order and continued on to Luddesdown and Henley Street. At Sole Street I waited expecting the main group, but they had either gone past all ready or Dave had taken them on a longer detour. By now I had,had enough I bashed home the shortest way possible. Still a good ride.

The possible reason you missed us was that Paul punctured at the bottom of the hill up to Cobham and we waited 10 minutes for him to fix it. The eyeballs out theme continued and I too was tailed off finally being dropped for good on the climb up out of Eynesford, they didn't wait at the top so I made my own way back to my car. I was supposed to be group leader but was deposed on the way home!
They are so ungrateful show them around the back lanes of Kent and what thanks to they give you?No respect for their elders about time they joined G1. They could then ride around on there own and compere average speeds, pulse rates, altitudes climbed etc.
Thats what I like about my Isle of Grain ride, nobody knows where they are until we are almost home so they have to stay behind me!!
Unfortunatly I will be working Sunday so I can't join in the fun this weekend. I will have to make do with a short ride in Essex.
