G2/3 8th January

Big(19) group set out today and we stayed together well on the way out to Fanny's Farm waiting for the odd puncture. Most of the return was held together that was until the 'dossard' hit the front on the Pilgrims way and the ride splintered into small groups.

I think I caused a bit of a split on the way out by going back to see if the little group we were waiting for was OK, only to miss them totally when they took a different route, causing some to wait for me!!! Sorry about that.

I left the tea stop early and took the direct route back to watch the footie. Home by 13:15. What's "dossard"?

There will be a G2 ride today, and any G1 riders not doing the Hell of Ashdown will be welcome to join, at a G2 pace of course !.   Dave Bettinson to lead.   Route will be to Dormandsland, via Penshurst.  Coffee stop at Hildenborough Golf Club.  Total distance 65 miles.  See More

Garmin 705 forsale
