Great run out today with Chris and I joining the hardmen of Avanti, Frankie dressed for a sunny August run and Daz hitting the tarmac on a slippery corner without even a whimper.  Highlights were the sausage and bacon sarnie and Frankie putting napkins in his shoes to keep his feet warm!

Hope your derailleur is all right Daz.

Daz,

Nice to have some company for a change, great to see frankie out and about, one day he will wear a jacket!

67ish miles at 19.2 Avg, nice cafe stop at yalding, coffee and cake went down well.

Went over going up paxtol, should remember to slow down,  too much mud and crap on the road surface, bikes fine and a few wholes nothing to worry about.

bumped into Bill coming up Poll hill.

a nice  steady ride , two punctures  ,loads of bikes out rather chilly every body taking turn on front .see you all in 2 weeks.

65 miles - ave HR 138 - ave mph 16 - took it nice and easy at the lower end of the endurance HR zone most of the way.

Left the G at 8:30 so not too late back due to riding at nice steady pace. Horrible freezing fog out in the lanes that early.

Somehow missed about 2-3 miles of the lane out near Staplehurst so slightly shorter ride than expected.

Taking it nice and easy when Daz and Steve G caught me at the top of PolHill so dropped in with them back to the G.
