Bexley Reliability ride;

 

Cold morning and not many takers, but still around 50 turned up, to a very cold and sunny day.

 

No other Avanti members, so set off as billie no mates hoping for a group to come by so I could jump on.

 

eventually this happened, we stayed together until gangers, rode back with kevin and joe for company.

 

100km in 3hrs 34, Avg 17.2

Rode from the Green with Michael and G1 group. Good cafe stop at Brookside after MIchael and Martin had decided to return - you missed out there boys! Then a flat loop before heading for home via Yalding and Plaxtol.

Beautiful day for a return to G1 riding for me and great pacing from Bill keeping it nice and steady (which is all I could manage to be honest). 

We must have done a little over 60 miles at a guess and I have no idea how fast/slow. Don't really care - it was just a really nice ride.

A good ride indeed Simon. 60 miles at 17.2mph ave.

Nice and controlled in the zone that counts.

It turned out to be a really nice ride in the winter sun. Good winter training pace. Thoroughly enjoyed my first ride as an avanti club member. Thanks for the welcome and see you next time. Cheers. John S.

Great ride today, thanks everyone.  Finding somewhere with bread pudding made the numb toes first thing all worth while.

Great ride in the sun. Bit nippy to start but ended up very pleasant indeed with great company. 98km @ 27.5 ave (sorry got to start thinking that way ;-)) mostly down to Bill and Simon pulling me along, a good Threshold workout! Starting to fit a little fitness now....
