Thanks Bill. Great summary to put to use (though I won't be going to a wind tunnel anytime soon). I better turn up early and get warmed up properly this Thursday, rather than the normal rush.

 

Which reminds me. I'll do an alert to get as many people along for Poll Hill as possible.A lot of work needed to pull the lead that 7Oaks have on us.

My work are making me work Thursday evenings at the moment. There's going to be a show down!
So does this mean you'll turn up to club TT one day soon as not seen you at any yet this year.

So far my health and its effect on my fitness has kept me from doing most of them so far this year and will do for any from now on.

My chest hasn't felt too great following Sunday's race, so I am reluctantly taking Jo's advise and stopping any rides above endurance pace or an hour or so for the rest of the season.

I have just requested to withdraw from SERRL Kenardington as it would not be a good idea for me to race it given my situation.

Hopefully taking advice and getting my isues sorted will enable me to come back healthier, stronger and fitter next year. Hopefully anyway!!!

Next year I plan to do a lot more racing as well. Just need to get a few things sorted.

Funny enough, when I was with Catford 88 - 02

I used to clubrun with tri-bars

And tow the faster group around !

Interesting. Basically get a decent road bike and invest in clip ons, helmet and decent wheels! Amazing how much difference just the clip ons make, unless I'm misreading it?
