The basic restriction is ride locally, ride once per day and with maximum one other person. The key point of contention is what are the actual restrictions of riding locally?

The organisations above have requested clarification on this point from the government.

We’ll update more if we hear anything.

At these times the NHS is stretched and hospitals are full of COVID-19 – take care out there – there are plenty of ways to keep cycling online and reduce the risk.

With slippery roads and stressed drivers – take care if you choose to ride outside.
