Have you Conquer the Beast !
“ Will you be bent double like old beggars under sacks, knock-kneed, coughing like hags, cursing through the endless sludge, as towards the distant rest you trudge “?
The new route MTB/Cyclo Cross Ride this year on Sunday the 7th December promises to be tougher than previous routes. From 10.00am let the pain begin!.
Down load an entry form which you should fill in prior to registration, as it will make your departure from HQ that much smoother, and if you pre-enter, that much cheaper.
The event will be run on a similar basis to previous years, the route however has been altered and we hope you will find it more enjoyable. A selection of sandwiches soup and snacks will be available for purchase. Bike washing, hot showers and free car park are on offer. The course is even more challenging, including the mud, but we shall keep the HQ open well into the afternoon to allow all entrants to finish in their own time.
The route has good signage, and we usually supply guides for each group at 10 minute intervals.
.
HQ will be at ‘Knockholt
Village Hall’ Kent, near Polhill off the Old London
Road (A224). First riders are off at 10 am.
There are Changing facilities along with Hot Showers.
