TrainingI've not been doing much off road recently and am a bit rusty on MTB and cyclo-cross skills. So, I'll be out practicing on the local trails. SERRL evening series E1234 #9

After six days in the Alps and a long drive home, plus a night shift the night before didn't really expect much from this race. The field comprised of 17 4ths, 18 3rds and 14 E12,s.The 4th cat group started off at a fair pace but it didn't take long for the 3rds to catch us with Matthew Webber and Ewan Tuohy from Catford Banks setting a good speed. Bill heads off to Paris

Bill Fitzgerald is raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. In fact, he and his 4 strong  "Team Superdrug" (ahem....) are very close to hitting the £7,000 mark. They are doing the London to Paris this weekend. If you have any spare dosh, help Bill breach that £7,000 mark by clicking here.

Jonathan Harris Strikes Again

Jonathan is a true all rounder. With limited experience, and a bike put together

Tuesday training rides

Lee is running a weekly training ride on a Tuesday evening (7.30pm from the Rose and Crown). The rides focus on developing group riding skills, and all are welcome. You can find more details by CLICKING HERE, where you can join the training ride group.

During the Summer months we run a weekly training session on Tuesday nights focussing on group riding skills. During Autumn and Winter we also run a weekly, indoor turbo session managed by a professional exercise specialist. All club members are welcome and encouraged to attend!

GS Avanti is one of the friendliest, most welcoming clubs in South East England which is why we have members from London, Bromley, Kent, Surrey and Sussex joining us at our regular events.
