Brighton Big Dog - MTB Fun For All!!

Last summer Jonathan Harris, Johnny Edwards and I had a great day of racing bikes in the sun down at the Brighton Big Dog. And it's back for 2014.For those of you not familiar with the event it features a great off road course down at Stanmer Park in Brighton that takes about 45 mins to get round. The course is open for six hours - solo riders and teams of two or three race to see how many laps they can complete in this time. For the teams it's a relay race, for the solos it, err, isn't. It's…See More

Eagle RC Good Friday crits

With work, family and marshalling commitments over the Easter weekend, the only day I had free was Good Friday, so another outing at Hog Hill for the Eagle RC Good Friday crits.A big field of 40 or so, and plenty of decent riders on the line with representatives from Pedal Heaven, Richardsons-Trek, Trek Neon-Velo, Starley Primal, etcRace started steadily enough and it was the second lap before the attacks started coming. Everything got closed down quickly, but there were no shortage of those…See More
